In 1991, a group of students from SMK Damansara Utama got together and decided to form a new club. To give back to the community what they gained. To involve and gather more teenagers who shared the same passion as them. Therefore, they started the Leo Club of SMK Damansara Utama. The Lions Club of KL Taman Tun saw the spirit in that bunch of young teenagers and adopted this club right up to this very day.

This club's first ever Leo advisor went to Lion Agnes Chua whom, with no doubt gave out loads of help and support through the first year of the club. This club's very first president was Leo Subrinna Chiew who was a sixteen years old studying in SMK Damansara Utama. Even that first year, our Vice President was a Form three and that tradition held its place all the way till our newest BOD.

Leo Club of SMK Damansara Utama has been through many highs and lows to establish a spot in the world of Leos. The hard work of the past BODs, Leo Advisors and Faculty Advisor shall always be appreciated as without their sweat and gore once upon a time, there will never be any of us right now.

So from the bottom of our hearts, the BODs of 2008/2009 thank the Leo Advisors that had been in charge of this very club. The patience they have that guided the headstrong teenagers, and molding them into young adults. Not forgetting our objectives of being a Leo, Leadership, Experience and Opportunity.
